Hi himadrigarg,
yes you need to apply for CET seperately......... |
They do not have diffrent cutoffs for mat and cet.....they will simply convert ur mat percentile to cet percentile.....now how they do that...suppose u get 99.99 in mat ....and there will be atleast 4 person scoring 99.99 in cet and all these 4 will have same/diffrent marks ....now ur 99.99 in mat will be converted to the lowest 99.99percentiler's cet score...say one 99.99 percentiler got 156 and another got 147...now if 147 is the lowest 99.99 percentiler's score then ur mat percentile will be equivalent to this ..... |

| Hi, this is Krish.Sir mah cat & xat was scrwed up cud manage only 60 & 68 percentiles respectively...so i want 2 do well in CET my target is atleast welingkar.but i dn kno hw 2 prepare cud u plzzz help me out,den i vl b vry pleased..here u all JBIMS students are doing an excellent job by conducting workshops cud u plzzz tell me how i can participate in it.Some more queries dis year will the CET b held in KOLKATA??as an OMS stdent hw much i have 2 score in CET 2 get admission in da top 4,cud u plzzz tell me???and i am givin ATMA also so plzz cud u tell me dat hw much i have score in ATMA atleast so dat wen my scores are converted i get a chance in top 4??plzz do help me its very very urgnt......Bst of luck 2 all.God bless u..... |

Hii yes Cet is conducted in Kolkatta!! In CET u have to score 180+ for JB !!

Hi,
Well my score is stuck in the range of 125 to 130 in the mocks which i have taken like TIMES,CL so pls help me as to how can i improve the same as i am aiming only for JBIMS and am a Home University student,

sir my score are also stuck between 115 -125 only. i have been taking cl ,mocks. can u pls help me how to improve da score.
Also how imp is the selection of gd -pi center for cet. I have heard dat opting for more rural area fetches more marks as compared to urban center . pls let me known so dat i can opt for appropriate center of gd-pi. |

Hii gouri,
I suggest don't just give mocks for the sake of writing the tests... give a break... sit and analyse ur strenghts and weaknesses.... make a note as to where u generally go worng!! practice those questions..!! after writing a mock and checking the answers solve the same mock again implementing the correct strategy which u discovered after writing the mock for tht particular test..!! u'll c an improvement in ur score..!! Tell me how ur performance improved after this..!!
