had my gd/pi tdy at sndt.the gd was nice we were given two topics:
1.india is a rich country with poor ppl
2.the public sector is a vital element for the growth of india.
i wanted to choose the second one since i had already prepared for this one but the majority was for the 1st one so we discussed tht one.
the gd was good and every1 got a chance to speak except for one fellow who god knws y didnt speak even whn given a chance.
as for the pi,the panel was really nice and cooperative.thy just asked me a few general questions and let me go .so thankfully my pi was excellent.

hi, m done with my gdpi at welingkars 2day..
was a cool one..
GD: 1. india is a rich country of poor people.
2. public sector is vital for indias development.
we chose the 1st one.. were given 13 minutes and at the 13th minute, v gave the panel an expression tht v want 2 spk sumthng more!! so they gave us 1 extra minute (on the condition tht if point is repeated u wil b gvn negative marks!!) v agreed and spoke in tht one minute..

v were 8 ppl but juz 4 of us spoke throughout even whn the panel "REQUESTED" the others 2 spk..!!!

ws called at the PI room.. 2 men..
askd me 4 intro.. i have a degreee in HINDI so they askd me questions related 2 it.. thn they askd me abt IPO.. thn my extra currics.. grilled me on the significant event mentioned in the form..
and askd me wht i did durin the 1 yr break i tuk frm studies..

that was it..!!! welingkar is a very gud place ..we were gvn snacks and they were very organised wth the process.. one of the MMS student showed us a presentation abt welingkar..!! juz hoping, i get tht opportunity next year!!!!!!!!!

Topic given to us were :
1) Judicial activism - boon or bane
2) India shld go for microchips and not potato chips

out of 13 ppl, 10 ppl voted for the 2nd topic, i was one among the 10 Wink

the evaluators were very kind to us. they advised us that v shld address the group while discussing and no to them....but few ppl, inspite of the advice were addressing the evaluators !
9 ppl were speaking throughout the GD, so in between the GD the evaluator asked the 4 ppl to contribute, but those 4 were nt able to ! were scared ! (I guess)…..i made 4-5 entries. The GD was cool, everybody listened to each other’s points….not a FISH MARKET at all ! the GD lasted for 15-20 mins. Then every participant was given a chance to conclude in 2-3 sentences! The conclusion part lasted for abt 2-3 mins.
(before the GD started, the evaluator had mentioned all the things, and he kept the track of the timings !

PI…
Had 6 rooms. 2 interviewers in each room.
I stay at kalyan and my college was at nerul, so he asked me how did I travel? I replied that I travelld by train….he was nt satisfied wid the answer!...asked me more…”how, how much time?”…I replied ti his qs….
Then began the interview….abt my subjects…..then questions on my subjects……I cld nt answer 2 of the questions….. bt the interviewer explained me one of the 2 answers!...(cool na!)…………only 1 person was asking me question till then…then the 2nd person spoke….asked me just 1question…..i answered………..and the PI got over.

Was pretty good!!!!

hello my topics 4 GD were:
1)Use of drugs in sports is justified
2)India cannot afford 2 host extravagant sports events like olympics etc..
Unfortunately out of the six participants i was d only gurl n d rest 6 were guys n both d topics were related 2 sports...(which i dont hav much knowledge abt).........der was a majority 4 d 1st topic coz 4 ppl selected it n 4 d 1nd only 3....of which i was d 1..d GD started wid 2 mins given 2 think n jot down d points...everythn went well....evry1 participated...seemed like a good gd widout much confusions etc....
Now PI was a lil tough..........since m a student of BMM...awaiting my results n no job ex.......i was grilled on topics dat they thought were der in my syllabus but actually weren't......i was very honest n told abt a few topics that i din know......but it was ok....newaz good GD n average PI...

GD PI @SNDt
Gd topic managers r born or made?..
every one gave 2/3 pts.... got heated in b/w so the moderater had to stop us... most of them spoke. those who did not were given an opurtunity..summarised by no one.. then was asked to summarise by 2 of them.. overall pretty ok

MET is a nice place to have a gdpi especially during summers(it has centralized AC)
1st topic: Shud adult franchise be restricted to literature
2nd topic: Shud there be 33% reservation for women in India in all spheres.

Obviously 2nd was selected...
Pi was more of work ex and current affairs...where i think i faired well

gd was a fish market wid 3 interventions n 1 warnin of disqualification...nice topic but ppl gotta lil stuck up on same issues
made 4-5 entries concluded nd gave new 3 pts...happy abt tht.
pi was unexpectedly simple
questions:
1)tel me at urself?
2)why mba?
3)wat is today's headline?
4)five women chief ministers?
5)wat is the relation between mahatma gandhi n indira gandhi?
6)wld u like 2 enter d education sector after mba?(i used 2 teach previously)
7)n a few questions abt the significant event.
an ya ther was a lot of time pass n a few jokes n laughs as wel...
but d faculty was v v v friendly.

2.malls a threat 2 small retailers
we went for the second topic...
the gd started well but there were two guys who kept on going for 1 to n resulted in a fish market as there 6 people speaking at a time the panel got irritated n warned 2 speak one at at time i made 2 to three entries on basis of big bazar for masses.... facilities n so on... than we headed for pi pi was k not so good just normal question but the panel was grilling on simple terms overall okkk

This years budget & globalization & on few answers filled in the PI sheet.. They may ask you just one thing but they will keep grilling on it.. My panelist were like that..

One of my friend was asked about the Union Ministers & all..
