What’s the placement scene like for non-engineers? Do companies show bias?

NMIMS has a good mix of Engineers and Non-Engineers and same goes for the Placements are well. Companies offer diverse set of roles such Finance, Marketing, Sales, Operations and Product Management, so regardless of student background having prior workex in the same domain can be really helpful.

How important are group projects and presentations at NMIMS? Are they a big c*unk of grading?

Group Assignment hold roughly 20 to 30% weightage in your Final marks per trimeters, so yes they are very important. Presentations takes place quiet frequently so you need to be well versed with platforms are Powerpoint prsentation and Canva
