What kind of work you did at startups?

Favourite subject of undergrad?

Fluid mechanics?

Bernoulli’s theorem? Is it applicable for all fluids? What are the losses that can occur?

What is a shell and tube exchanger? Which should be having water? Why?

What is a centrifugal pump?

What is a positive suction pump? What is a Net suction pump?

Did you do any industrial projects?

Will we have any industrial usage of water splitting?

Favourite subject in Maths,

Graph of y = mod x, is it differentiable? Is it continuous?

What do we mean by function being differentiable?

What is being continuous?

How would you explain in layman terms? If I am drawing the graph then?

Draw the curve for e^x and x^2, e^x grows faster?

Messed up - I said after intersection x^2 crosses e^x (Wrong) I corrected myself later

Number of seats in lok sabha? I said it was 23 and then also said 29 but correct answer was 29

Then he gave me the topic for Extempore: DEI vs merit based hiring? I said we need balanced approach, gave example of my internship work

Where is diversity good?

What are the issues that government and companies are switching to merit based?

Are you changing your stance?

I said no sir, I will follow a balanced approach as extremes of both are not good.

What approach and how? Having more but different people.

Told benefits of having diverse and intelligent people together.

This was my overall experience of the interview, Panel was very friendly I would say.
