The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi has shown tremendous improvement in its 2024โ25 final placements, making it one of the top business schools in India. The peak domestic CTC of โน50.39 lakh per year saw around 33% hike compared to the last year. The average CTC for the MBA course was โน19.29 lakh, with the top 25% of students getting an average of โน26.79 lakh. Notably, 19.8% of MBA students received pre-placement offers (PPOs), averaging โน20.85 lakh per annum.
96 companies were a part of the placement process, with jobs offered across sectors. The highest number of offers came from the BFSI and Fintech sector with 37.06%, followed by IT & ITES (8.63%), Manufacturing (12.18%), E-Commerce & Tech (9.64%), and Consulting & Professional Services (6.6%). Such wide representation across sectors emphasizes IIM Ranchi's focus on exposing students to a wide range of career opportunities.
The MBA-HR program also saw impressive results, including a highest CTC of โน35.3 lakh and an average of โน19.02 lakh. Around 30% of MBA-HR students were offered PPOs, a sign of the strength of the industry interface of the program. The MBA-Business Analytics program also saw a highest CTC of โน27.93 lakh and an average of โน19.87 lakh, with a remarkable 66% rise in PPOs from last year.ย
