Which was the first IIM established in India?

    It’s actually IIM Calcutta. Most people guess Ahmedabad, but Calcutta was the first IIM, started in 1961. Both started the same year, but Calcutta just edged ahead. Good to know if you ever get asked in an interview or quiz.
