Building a Tech-Enhanced CAT Routine

Body

When it comes to CAT, a solid routine matters as much as the number of hours you put in. Technology can take that routine from good to great by helping you manage time, practice smarter, and stay connected with peers.

Start with time management tools. Use Google Calendar or Notion to block your study hours and treat them like non-negotiable appointments. Pair this with a Pomodoro timer app (25 minutes study, 5 minutes break) to stay focused without burning out.

Add daily targeted practice with adaptive mock platforms. These adjust question difficulty based on your performance, ensuring steady progress without wasted effort. Complement this with vocabulary or RC apps to build verbal skills consistently.

Then, set aside time for peer learning. Join forums or Telegram groups to exchange strategies and review doubts. Explaining concepts to others is one of the most effective ways to reinforce your own understanding, and it keeps you motivated.

Apps and forums are powerful, but they work only if you already bring discipline to the table. Think of them as efficiency tools helping you stay organized, track progress, and learn faster.

Don’t try to add everything at once. Introduce one tool at a time maybe start with a scheduling app this week, then experiment with adaptive quizzes next week. Within a month, you’ll notice your prep feels more structured, balanced, and less stressful.
