M1: How did you join Asian Paints?

M1: What software tools do you use at your company?
Candidate: I listed the software tools I work with.
M1: Could you tell me more about CRM and ERP software?
Candidate: I provided details about Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software used in my role.
M1: How many people report to you?
Candidate: I shared the number of team members under my supervision.
M1: Please draw your organizational structure and explain how the hierarchy functions.
Candidate: I sketched the structure and clarified the reporting lines and hierarchy.
M1: If you continue in your current role, how will your promotion trajectory look?
Candidate: I outlined the potential career progression based on my current work.
M2 takes over
M2: What products does Asian Paints sell?
Candidate: I described some of the company’s premium products.
M2: What are industrial coatings, and how do they differ from regular coatings?
Candidate: I explained the concept of industrial coatings and highlighted their differences from regular coatings.
M2: Have you heard of graphite? What is its composition?
Candidate: Drawing from prior knowledge, I explained what I knew about graphite and its composition.
M2: What is the turnover of Asian Paints?
Candidate: I provided the turnover figure to the best of my knowledge.
M2: What is the overseas revenue from foreign markets for Asian Paints, and in which countries do they have a presence?
Candidate: I shared details about the countries where Asian Paints operates but mentioned that I was unaware of the exact revenue figures.
M2: How many offices does your organization have in India?
Candidate: I responded with the number of offices, as per my understanding.
M2: Which is the largest consumer goods company, and what is its revenue?
Candidate: I suggested Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) as the largest consumer goods company and provided an educated guess for its revenue, as I did not know the exact figure.

The interview concluded. All questions primarily focused on my work experience, with only one or two exceptions as noted above
