A lot of aspirants assume it’s 95+ percentile or nothing after CAT  which honestly creates unnecessary panic.

But there are reputed B-schools that have historically taken candidates below 95 percentile, depending on:

• profile strength

• academics & work experience

• category-wise cutoffs

• interview performance

• and sometimes even sectional balance

Percentile matters, yes but it’s not the only variable in the admission equation.

Sharing this data so people who feel “out of the race” can take a more informed, realistic call instead of giving up early.
