A lot of aspirants assume it’s 95+ percentile or nothing after CAT which honestly creates unnecessary panic.
But there are reputed B-schools that have historically taken candidates below 95 percentile, depending on:

profile strength

academics & work experience

category-wise cutoffs

interview performance
-
and sometimes even sectional balance
Percentile matters, yes but it’s not the only variable in the admission equation.
