Top 30 B-Schools in India

Body

1. The "Small Batch" Advantage

Schools like TISS (76 seats), DMS IIT Delhi (125 seats), and JBIMS (156 seats) offer a highly personalized placement experience. With fewer students to place, these colleges often secure 100% placements much faster than those with batches exceeding 500.

2. The ROI Calculation

If you are sensitive to debt, focus on FMS Delhi and TISS Mumbai. While the seat count is lower, the competition is justified by the near-zero interest burden post-graduation.

3. Batch Diversity

IIM Kozhikode and IIM Rohtak have historically adjusted their selection criteria to ensure a healthy gender ratio. If you have a diverse profile (Non-Engineer, Female), these seats are strategically easier to convert compared to the "Engineer-heavy" IITs.

TISS having only 76 seats for HRM is why the competition is more intense than even IIM Ahmedabad for some. If you miss even one question in CUET-PG (or whichever exam they use), you're basically out

I always thought FMS had 200 seats. 314 including supernumerary is a lot better! Still, that 99.5+ percentile requirement for General category is scary.
