The XAT Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning Syllabus makes up 26% of the XAT exam, with 26 out of 100 questions focusing on this section.
The VALR section in the XAT syllabus is divided into three parts. The 1st part of the syllabus covers topics on Verbal Ability, the 2nd Part of the syllabus covers Reading Comprehension passages and the 3rd part covers Reasoning section. Each question carries one mark, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The format of the questions is multiple-choice questions.
