CET is an exam that not only tests your knowledge, it is a race against time. It about resilience, patience and quick decision making. It goes without saying that for any exam you need to be thorough with the syllabus but while approaching CET you need to be strategic too. You may know all the answers but its not going to help if you are unable to attempt it. Considering these I would say broadly these are 5 key pillars

      1. Clear Concepts - Ensure you prepare and practice all sections. Make sure your concepts are absolutely clear. Typically Easy-Medium level questions is what you should target in Verbal and Quants/DI. LR and Abstract Reasoning have some unique type of questions which you might not come across in other exams, make sure you prepare well for them. CET has been known for it complex puzzles in LR that feature time and again, make sure you have clear concepts on all the types of questions.

      2. Practice, Practice and some more Practice  - You need to really go all in while practicing. This helps you solve more questions, choose better questions and know your strengths. While practicing your focus shouldn't just be solving the question but it must be to solve the question efficiently. Try out the question in more than one ways and figure out what works best for you. While practicing create your own repository of quick reference that you can re-visit during your revisions. Set up timers for a set of questions, challenge yourself to solve x number of question correctly in y amount of time and keep on improving your accuracy and attempts.

      3. Start Mocks Early - CET is an exam of accuracy and time. The earlier you start mocks that faster you will know your pulse and then you can practice it over and over again. Do not wait for your syllabus to be done. Once about 30-40% is done, go for it. Considering you would have already studied for other exams reaching 30-40% readiness shouldn't be a problem. Trust me, mocks are going to a painful journey, you will feel the race against time, frustration from knowing I could have solved but couldn't, disappointment from being stuck with the wrong questions. The good part is more such experiences you have the more you will learn to overcome them and when you reach such stage in your actual exam you would know how to navigate it. Try to solve mocks with different strategy eg. round robin fashion, blocking time for n number of questions, section wise, switching between sections. Find out what strategy works best for you and then practice it again and again to master it.

      4. Re-visit Mocks - Each and every mock you attempt must be re-visited 2-3 times atleast. Make sure you document your learning in each mock. I would suggest you to have topic wise sections in your notebooks where you collate the questions of that topic from each mock. Eventually you'll realise its the same 7-8 type of questions that appear in the paper and you need to find the optimal way to solve them (I am sure practice and your teachers will help you with that). Find out what you could have better, note down and be proud of what you solved efficiently, make note of the wrong decisions you took in the strategy.

      5. Stay Strong -  Like I mentioned earlier ,It about resilience, patience and quick decision making. You need to stay strong during preparation and during the exam too ! I know some brilliant brains who could not make it and literally gave up right in the middle of exam. The time constraint, limited seats and the chance for glory that feels so near yet so far can be pressurising. I would say rather enjoy this process celebrate each win, a new type of question solved a question solved 10 secs faster is all a win. Stay focussed and strong during the exam too. Even if a stage comes where you get stuck on a question or are behind your strategised time do not lose your cool (with enough mocks, you would have encountered these situation before and would be able to navigate)

To conclude I would say -
      - Enjoy your Preparation
      - Study Hard
      - Aim for Rank 1
      - Think like a winner

      All the Best !
