"Hey folks, I am planning to appear for XAT and was wondering, what are some of the best colleges that accept XAT scores? Would love to know your suggestions and any insights on how they differ from each other.

XIM Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is another reputed B-school through XAT. It is known for a strong curriculum and consistent placements. The HR and BM programs are good, and it has a decent brand name. It is also a good pick for students from Eastern India. The cutoffs are not as high as XLRI, so it is a good backup if you do not make it to the top.

There is also TAPMI Manipal, which is increasingly becoming popular. It is AACSB accredited and has a strong curriculum. They offer specializations in HR, marketing, finance, etc. Plus, the batch size is large, and the alumni network is growing rapidly. If you do not make it to XLRI or XIMB, TAPMI is a solid choice.

IMT Ghaziabad accepts both CAT and XAT scores, and it is one of the top-tier colleges in North India. Its marketing program is highly rated, and the campus life is vibrant. Placements are solid too, though slightly below XLRI or XIMB. But for anyone aiming for a career in marketing or sales, this is a good pick.

Great Lakes Institute of Management (Chennai and Gurgaon campuses) also takes XAT scores. The one-year PGPM is especially well-regarded for professionals with work experience. It is more industry-focused and the learning pace is intense, but the ROI is good, and placements are decent across domains.

XLRI Jamshedpur is hands down the best college under XAT. It offers PGDM in BM (Business Management), HRM (Human Resource Management), and GM (General Management). The HRM program especially is ranked among the best in Asia. Placement stats are amazing, with average packages going over ₹30 LPA in recent years. The campus culture and alumni network are a big plus too.
