Can't forget this

Body

During one of my B-school interviews, I was asked a question that really made me stop and think:

๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œWhat is something youโ€™ve unlearned in the last 2 years?โ€

At first, I scrambled for an answerโ€”our instinct is to show what we've learned, not what we've let go of.

But then it struck me.

In the fast-moving environments Iโ€™ve worked inโ€”whether at Udaan handling supply chain finance or at Airtel building techโ€”I had to unlearn the idea that perfection is the goal. I realized that speed, adaptability, and progress often matter more than getting everything 100% right the first time.

โœ… I learned to prioritize clarity over control.
โœ… To embrace failure as iteration, not incompetence.
โœ… And to stop equating being busy with being impactful.

That one question turned into a moment of reflectionโ€”not just for the interview, but for how I approach work, leadership, and life.

If you're preparing for interviews, hereโ€™s my advice:
๐Ÿ”น Prepare your mind, not just your answers.
๐Ÿ”น Reflect on your journey deeply.
๐Ÿ”น And donโ€™t be afraid to be vulnerableโ€”it shows maturity, not weakness.

Would love to hear:
Whatโ€™s one question from an interview that challenged your perspective?
