Consulting Isn’t Just a Job - It’s a Fast-Track to Leadership

People look at this and go “consulting = insane growth
Which is true but that’s not the full story

This kind of trajectory usually means:

  • consistently top ratings

  •  faster-than-average promotions

  • being in the right projects/teams and a bit of timing + luck

Consulting gives you the platform, exposure, and brand  no doubt but not everyone in consulting ends up here. Early promotions + performance matter a lot more than just the tag.

So yeah, consulting helps but this level of growth is still very much an outlier

    Spot on. People often mistake the 'platform' for the 'engine.' Consulting provides the platform (the brand and the network), but your performance is the engine. The 'tag' gets you into the room, but only consistently high ratings keep you on the fast track. It's the difference between being in a firm and being built by a firm
