How do working professionals balance CAT prep with office schedules without burning out?

Body

I am working full-time and trying to prep for CAT alongside. Honestly, it's

draining. By the time I finish office work, I barely have the energy to attempt a mock
or even solve RCs/sets. I'm scared I'll fall behind compared to students who can prep
full-time. Anyone else in the same boat? Would love some solidarity.

Juggling a full time job and then trying to find the energy for something as demanding as the CAT is incredibly tough. I'm a freelancer myself, so I'm used to managing my own schedule and workload, but a 9to5 with structured deadlines is a completely different beast. You're showing incredible discipline just by taking this on.

I don't know if this will help, but here's how I try to manage my study while working.
For mocks, I practice sectional test (like a few RC passages or a DILR set) and it also helps assess the points that need more attention.

I sit in 2 hours study block first hour and a half goes into studying concepts and then I solve some basic questions on it to check whether what I have studied had I understood or need to spend some more time.

Weekends I know are close to all of us but I use it to catch on materials that I need more focus and I also dedicate a fix time on Saturday and  Sunday for a full mock test. I try to create the same exam half environment. I have heard it from many of the aspirant but never really tried it but in the last 2 mocks I have been trying and testing and it's highly recommended.
