IIM Rohtak: Breaking down the ROI for the PGP 2025-27 batch.

Body

The ROI conversation for mid-tier IIMs is getting increasingly tricky. When you factor in the rising fee structures alongside the current placement benchmarks for the 2025-27 batch, the math for IIM Rohtak looks different than it did a few years ago. I have been crunching the data on their PGP reports versus their stated fees. It is not just about the IIM tag anymore; it is about the break-even timeline. Is the brand name still carrying enough weight to justify the investment compared to private institutes in the same bracket? Would love to hear from current students or recent alumni about their take on this.

Rohtak's brand value has definitely taken a hit in the last two years. I think the ROI is only worth it if you can land a good internship in the first year

I have been looking at the same data. The issue is that the average package is always skewed by a few top-tier consulting roles. If you aren't in the top 20 percent of the batch, the real ROI is much lower

ROI is so subjective. If you're a fresher with no work-ex, that IIM tag helps get your resume past the HR filter. That alone has a value you can't really calculate in a simple ROI spreadsheet
