a) 50% weight to CAT/XAT ensures strong academic aptitude remains the foundation.
b) Moderate weight to WAT & academics (5% each) enough to reward consistency and articulation, but not so much that it becomes exclusionary.

35% for the Personal Interview is massive. It really shifts the pressure onto soft skills and personality. You can't just be a 'numbers person' to get through here; you actually have to demonstrate leadership and communication depth in the room

The 1% for Aspirational Districts and specific Domiciles is a very thoughtful touch. It shows the institution is moving beyond just 'gender diversity' and actually looking at geographical and socio-economic inclusivity. That's how you build a truly diverse classroom.

Finally, a weightage system that doesn't completely penalize someone for a bad grade they got when they were 15 Keeping Academics at 5% while putting 50% on the actual entrance exam makes this one of the most 'fresher-friendly' and performance-oriented criteria I've seen in this tier.
