Raghuram Rajan (IIM Ahmedabad, Batch of 1987)

Before becoming the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India and a globally respected economist, Raghuram Rajan walked the halls of IIM Ahmedabad as part of the 1987 batch. Known for predicting the 2008 global financial crisis and for his candid views on economic policy, Rajan later taught at the University of Chicago Booth School. His journey from IIMA to the top of global finance is what MBA dreams are made of.

Harsha Bhogle (IIM Ahmedabad, Batch of 1985)

You’ve probably heard his voice before his name, Harsha Bhogle, one of India’s most iconic cricket commentators, is also an IIM Ahmedabad 1985 graduate. With a background in chemical engineering and an MBA to boot, Harsha chose an unconventional path and made it big in sports broadcasting. His story is proof that an MBA doesn’t box you in, it opens doors you didn’t know existed.

Chetan Bhagat (IIM Ahmedabad, Batch of 1997)

A member of the 1997 IIMA batch, Chetan Bhagat went from investment banking to becoming India’s best-selling English-language author. With hits like Five Point Someone and 2 States, Bhagat captured the imagination of a generation. His pivot from finance to fiction shows just how flexible an MBA path can be.
