This mock went off the rails for me. Started VARC with the AI RC—big mistake. Spent forever trying to understand it and didn’t even finish the passage properly. That threw off my tempo for the whole test. Barely managed one set in DILR. QA was okay-ish, but I know I can do better. I need to stop being stubborn mid-paper and just move on faster.

Quant was tough again. Only one easy question (Q21), and I was lucky I spotted it early. Rest of QA was mostly moderate-to-difficult, and I got stuck in a couple of Algebra questions. Should’ve stuck to Arithmetic. VARC is still my weak spot—I left 2 RCs entirely. Need to build confidence there, even if it's just starting with summary questions.

Not my best mock by a long shot. I went in with decent confidence, but DILR completely threw me off. I started with the Network Flow set because it looked vaguely familiar from a past mock—but it turned out to be a total trap. The variables kept overlapping and I couldn’t get a clear foothold. I wasted close to 20 minutes trying to force it, thinking I was close to a breakthrough... and that cost me badly.

VARC was okay—I got through the VA questions decently, and the Orwell passage felt structured enough. But then I made the mistake of attempting the AI passage, thinking it might have some hidden reward. It didn’t. Should’ve trusted the readability levels from the post-mock and just skipped it.

QA was slightly better. I was able to attempt around 10 questions, mostly from Arithmetic and Algebra. Accuracy is still a question mark, but at least I didn’t fall for Geometry this time.

Overall, this mock was a reminder that overconfidence in familiar-looking sets can backfire, and each mock needs a fresh approach. Going to rework my set selection strategy and go back to doing a 2-minute scan before locking into anything. Recalibration time.

Just 4 right answers this mock. I chose all the wrong sets in DILR, panicked in VARC, and barely managed anything in QA. But when I looked at the post-analysis, I could actually see where I went wrong. There were at least 6 questions I could have gotten right if I had just managed time better. Going to do a full mock review this time instead of moving on like I usually do.

Multilingualism RC really saved my score in VARC this time. It was the most readable and structured passage of the lot—felt almost like a newspaper feature rather than an academic essay. I started the section with VA as always (odd-one-out and summary felt manageable), which gave me some early momentum. Then I tackled the Orwell RC—it was dense but surprisingly clear once you got past the first paragraph.

I completely skipped the AI and Carolina Corps RCs after reading the first few lines—they just felt too abstract and jargon-heavy to be worth the time. In the past, I would’ve tried to brute-force them and ended up frustrated, so I’m glad I exercised some restraint this time.

Attempted 21 questions overall, and while I’m not 100% sure about all my answers, my accuracy should be decent based on how confident I felt during the attempt. Definitely a better experience than Mock 4, where the RCs were weirdly phrased and all equally tough. Feeling a bit more in control now!
