XAT 2026 Important Dates

• Notification Release: Last week of July 2025

• Registration Window: Second week of July 2025 → First week of December 2025

• Application Form Dates: Same as registration

• Admit Card Release: Last week of December 2025

• Exam Date: January 4, 2026

• Result Release: Third week of January 2026

XAT Score Acceptance

• Accepted by XLRI Jamshedpur (flagship institute) and over 160+ B-schools in India, including XIMB, IMT Ghaziabad, TAPMI, Great Lakes, FORE, LIBA, MICA (for PGDM-C alongside its own test) and many others.

• Used for admission into MBA/PGDM programs in General Management, Business Management, HR, and more.

XAT Result & Scorecard Policy

• Scorecard Release: Third week of January 2026 (downloadable from official website).

• Validity: XAT score is valid for 1 year (for admissions to 2026-28 batch).

• Result Format: Shows overall percentile + sectional percentiles (VARC, DM, QA & DI, GK separately displayed but GK not counted in percentile).

• Use in Selection:

• XLRI and most top institutes consider XAT percentile + GK + essay + PI/GD in final admission.

• Some institutes may give lesser/no weightage to GK and essay in the first shortlisting stage.
