Here’s the truth: GK in XAT doesn’t decide whether you clear the cutoffs. Your percentile is based on the other three sections. But GK can matter after the exam, especially in the interview process and this is the part many ignore.

A decent GK score won’t suddenly make or break your call, but having awareness of current affairs and business news does give you an edge when you sit across the panel.
