Hey aditi, first of all its amazing that you are trying to prepare for interview from the start, it will surely help you a lot!

As of now, I would suggest that you read the newspaper daily and thoroughly and make sure that you are aware of what's happening in the country and the world.

Next thing I will suggest you is to keep going through your graduation subjects and basic maths as it will make it a lot easier for you during your time right before the interview, if Ahmedabad is your goal you gotta work hard but also in a proper, structured format!

To summarise read the newspaper daily, be aware of social happenings and make your academics strong! Trust me it will help you a lot!!

Hey meher, for gap year I will suggest that you focus on your graduation/workex very strongly so that it gets portrayed that you are serious and determined for your academics. Keep your introduction/answer to your tell me about yourself question very strong and make sure to add pointers in it making sure the interview goes in the direction you want!

Specifically for your gap year, first of all sit and think exactly why you took it, now when you have the factual answer, make sure to prepare it in a very structured manner which actually is persuasive. All you have to do is to make sure that the panelists do not end up feeling like you are not sure about things or just wasted a year, you can come up with a proper answer and even try answering to your family/friends and they can guide you if it is making sense or not.

Honestly, its not that tough if you have a gap year but yaa I will advice that make sure the rest of your skills and details mentioned on the form are something that you are fully aware and prepared of.

That depends on how your preparation is going and form how long you have been preparing for, as I only had less than 3 months to prepare for CAT, I kept my last month solely for mocks but I also preferred doing sectional mocks while studying.

Majority of the people start giving mocks when they have at least covered 50% or more of the syllabus, but my advice will be that the vest way to know about this is by trying a mock and thenfigure out your own best path as all of us are different and so is our preparation strategy, so don't follow anyone's advice blindly instead make a proper plan based on your strengths and weaknesses.

Hey, I think you should currently put your focus in your 12th class and whichever degree you wish to pursue as CAT and MBA are not the things in your immediate future but its a very good sign that you are thinking about it!

In my opinion, you should start reading articles and essays to build your VARC section skills and just keep reading the newspaper and be aware of what is happening around, it will give you a very good confidence boost:)
