I was going through the site and checked the fee structure. I'd previously known that the fees is 21L, which along with mess and hostel goes upto 25 - now it's directly 25? So with hostel and mess it's bound to be close to 30? Did I just have wrong info, or did they just bump their fees again.

For anyone sitting on the fence don't let the fee hike deter you. Focus on the SIPs (Summer Internships). IIM Mumbai's SIP stipends are still among the highest in the country, which helps offset costs early on.

As long as the placements stay in the 30L+ range, the math still works. But for students taking full loans, that extra 4-5L principal adds a decent c*unk to the monthly EMI
