I underestimated how mentally draining CAT prep actually is
Body
Going into CAT 2025, I thought the hard part would be learning Quant and DILR.
Turns out the harder part was staying okay mentally for months.
You wake up thinking about mocks, go to sleep thinking about percentiles, and in between youโre constantly comparing yourself to others. Even when youโre studying, half your brain is just worried about whether youโre studying enough.
Now that CAT and XAT are over, I can finally see how heavy that pressure was.
Did anyone else feel this constant low-level anxiety throughout prep? How are you dealing with it now?
