SRCC GBO 2026-28: Decoding the GDPI Shortlist and Cut-offs

Body

Being shortlisted for the SRCC GBO Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GDPI) is only half the battle. Unlike many B-schools where the entrance score carries the majority of the weightage, SRCC historically places significant emphasis on the candidate's performance in the interview rounds. For categories like OBC (81.74 percentile) and EWS (91.20 percentile), the narrow gap between candidates means that a stellar GDPI performance can easily catapult a borderline candidate into the final merit list.

Whether you are from the Unreserved category or benefit from the SC/ST/PwBD quotas, the focus now shifts from quantitative aptitude to communication, global awareness, and personality. This is the stage where "belief meets preparation." Candidates appearing for the Delhi University Ward Quota or CW Priority categories should also leverage this opportunity to showcase their alignment with the GBO program’s global outlook.

I’m on the borderline for the EWS category (91.3). Does anyone know the weightage of the GDPI round this year? Is it still 25% or has it changed?

It’s amazing to see 'All Candidates' being called for ST and PwBD categories. This is a massive opportunity for students from those groups to get into a Tier-1 institute. Don't waste the GDPI call!

That 93.12 percentile for UR is actually quite a relief compared to the 99+ we see at the IIMs. SRCC GBO really is the best hidden gem in the DU circuit for finance and ops
