IIMB’s proximity to tech-hub ecosystems and SPJIMR’s unique pedagogical focus on social sensitivity combined with strategy make them prime targets for firms like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain. The Strategic Mid-Tier (28% – 34%): ISB Hyderabad continues to dominate in absolute numbers due to its massive cohort size, even with a 34% placement rate. JBIMS Mumbai, though appearing lower at 16%, remains highly selective, with consulting roles primarily focused on BFSI and Financial Advisory due to its deep ties with the Mumbai financial district.
