"I’d swap 'heavy textbooks' for a good tablet/Kindle if your program allows digital reading. Carrying 5kg of books across campus every day is a workout nobody wants. Keep the physical footprint in your room as small as possible

Everyone packs formal wear, but please ensure your 'Formal Shoes' are actually comfortable to walk in. You’ll be wearing them for hours during placement interviews or campus events. If you've never worn them, break them in before you leave for campus
