I’m scheduling NMAT after CAT since I don’t want any distraction from CAT prep. CAT is my main goal, and once it’s over, I’ll switch to NMAT’s specific question style. Also the NMAT window is long and I can always retake it if I don’t do well. Plus, the pressure is less before CAT season heats up. 

For me, NMAT before CAT makes sense. It’s like a warm-up match , I can identify my weak areas in a real exam setting and then fix them before the CAT. Like a buildup almost. 

I am giving NMAT after CAT because CAT prep covers almost everything for NMAT too. That way I don’t have to prepare separately and can just focus on speed practice for NMAT.

I am taking NMAT before CAT because NMAT’s pattern is easier and adaptive. I feel it will give me an early confidence boost and also help me get used to exam pressure before CAT.
