Which "Non-ABC" IIMs are set to dominate the Median CTC charts in the next 5 years?

Body

The median CTC is a much more honest metric than the average. Schools like IIM Indore and IIM Ranchi have solid median anchors, but their growth will depend on how quickly they can diversify their recruiter base beyond their current "staple" industries. The schools that pivot toward high-demand sectors like Product Management and AI-driven Consulting will likely see their median CTCs outperform the rest.

Let's be real, the economy plays a bigger role than the institute brand. If the market is down, even the 'high growth' IIMs will struggle to keep their median moving up. Growth isn't guaranteed just because it’s an IIM

I’m betting on Nagpur. The way they’ve scaled their recruiter list compared to the other newer IIMs is insane. Their placement committee is clearly aggressive. In 5 years, that median will definitely be north of 20LPA.

People always talk about averages, but looking at this, the median gap between Lucknow and the top 3 is smaller than I thought. If you're getting Lucknow, you're basically getting Tier 1 outcomes with slightly less stress about the percentile cutoff
