This was my first mock didnt expect much but got a decent accuracy.
VARC was good but DILR was horrible. Hope this will change as I attempt more mocks.ย

Real CAT Mock 2 was humbling. I made the mistake of going sequentially in VARC and wasted time on the harder RCs upfront. Scored better in DILR because I pre-scanned the sets โ€” Set 4 and 5 were saviors. For Quant, Iโ€™m noticing a pattern: if I donโ€™t find 4โ€“5 easy questions, I lose confidence. So now Iโ€™ll focus on timed topic-wise drills and post-mock analysis. Overall, a great learning experience!

Overall, I think this was a well-balanced mock. DILR wasnโ€™t too overwhelming if you chose the right sets. VARC was tough but doable โ€” I actually liked Passage 1 for its uniqueness. But Quant really tested my endurance; after 40 minutes, my accuracy just dropped. I need to work on stamina for these 2-hour mocks, itโ€™s mentally draining.

This mock reminded me that Quant is not just about solving โ€” itโ€™s about solving smart. I initially wasted time on Q5 and Q9, which were difficult. Shouldโ€™ve gone straight for 7 and 17 โ€” they were clear scoring opportunities. Iโ€™m realizing more and more how important question selection is. Also, Geometry is becoming a pain point for me โ€” need to revise the basics again

I started with Set 4 in DILR and that worked out really well. The circular arrangement felt familiar and gave me some early momentum. Set 1 was a trap โ€” spent 6 minutes reading and still couldnโ€™t crack it. Lesson learned: not all sets are worth attempting. Ended up solving 15 to 22 comfortably. Strategy over brute force is key in this section!

VARC was quite the rollercoaster in this mock! I found Passage 2 the easiest โ€” could finish it without second-guessing much. But Passage 3 really tested my patience with those abstract lines and confusing options. Also, the odd-one-out questions in the VA section were next-level โ€” especially Q10 and Q15. I think focusing on accuracy helped me survive this section. Got 7 and 8 right, so that felt good!
