I am aiming for XAT 2025 and in need of some guidance, can someone please help me out regarding it?

Hello, letting you know just for some guidance that even though the essay writing section is not evaluated for percentile, XLRI and few other institutes use it during interview rounds and evaluates it. So put equal importance on it.ย

From what I understand, the essay writing section was reintroduced in XAT 2022 and has continued since then.

Hey just a heads up, I sat for XAT 2024 and the essay topic was pretty abstract. It wasn't too hard but you need to practice beforehand and keep 10-15 minutes atmost for the essay.

Yes, there will be an essay writing section in XAT 2025. That section is part of Part B of the exam and from what I remember, it comes right after the main objective questions.
