HP questions are almost always solved by converting them into AP. Seriously, just take the reciprocals immediately and save yourself the headache of dealing with fractions

The quadratic stuff is easy until they start asking for integer solutions or common roots between two equations. Don't just learn the formula for the roots know how to form an equation if you're given the roots.
