We’ve become so obsessed with the hierarchy of IIMs (BLACKI vs. the rest) that we’ve started treating incredible, life-changing achievements like they are failures. It’s insane. We spend years dreaming of an IIM tag, but the moment we get one, the community moves the goalposts. Suddenly, if it’s not Ahmedabad or Bangalore, you’re told to "save your money."
In reality, business isn't built on a spreadsheet ranking; it’s built on the guts of the people who actually show up and do the work. Whether you are at Indore, Shillong, or Udaipur, the corporate world only cares about your persistence once you're through the door. This "hierarchy obsession" is just a distraction from the fact that most of these commenters are terrified of their own "reality check" coming in the placement season.

The irony is that the same people calling these schools 'bad' will be the first ones to post 'Feeling blessed' on LinkedIn the moment they get an internship from the same campus. Hierarchy obsession is just a coping mechanism for stress.
